NASSAU, Bahamas The 8th annual Club Monica Athletics Classic will be held
over two days, February 18 and 19, at the Thomas A.
Robinson Track
& Field Stadium in Bahamas.
Day one starts at 6p.m. and day two action will get underway at noon.
This meet is sanction by the BAAA and will be used as a qualifier for
the CARIFTA Games. To date a number of family islands have signed up to
compete, Freeport,
Exuma, Long Island, Nassau just to name a few.
Founder, Coach Dianne Woodside
The founder and head coach is Dianne Woodside.
The meet over the years is use to help prepare the country’s top
junior athletes for the Carifta Games, held across the Caribbean on
Eastern Weekend. The next Carifta Games will be held in Montego Bay Jamaica.
