T he First Annual Dog Days Half Marathon in Memory of Sir Jack Hayward will be held this Saturday, May 2nd.  Expect  a fun and action-packed day for the whole family. Not sure you can handle a half marathon? Don't worry! We also have a half marathon relay team, 5k race and a One Mile Fun/Run for adults, kids & of course dogs.

After your race stay and enjoy the day at Bahamas Adventures. Award Ceremony will be held at 12 noon and proceeds to benefit the Humane Society Of Grand Bahama.  AND Bahamas Adventures is donating 20% of their sales that day to the GB Humane Society! That is reason enough to come out with the family, have some lunch and drinks and fun!

There will be medals for ALL participants and of course trophies for best male and female for the Half Marathon and 5K. We are also excited to announce that there will be a cash prize of $500 for the best female and male half marathoner!  Now there's some motivation!

The top male and female in the 5k will receive a $100 gift certificate to Kelly's True Value!  We'll also include recognition for the top placers in each category.  As well as bibs for half marathon and 5K participants, and tee shirts and swag bags for all!

We want to encourage our smallest pet lovers to join the One Mile Fun Run/Walk. Entry for kids 10 & under is only $5 and includes a medal, tee shirt and goodie bag!

Om Grown Greens will have fresh healthy smoothies for sale before and after your race. AND they are donating all proceeds to the GB Humane Society!
