Bahamas' Fox Brothers Obtain Success on the Florida Tennis Circuit‏

Ryan Fox is a 12 year old Bahamian Tennis player who has been studying and training in Florida at the prestigious “ Pro World” tennis academy of Delray Beach  Ryan has been playing the local Florida tennis circuit and has been making steady progress. He has been playing many local tournaments starting with “ Eddie Herr International Tennis Tournament” in Bradenton Florida last year. This tournament highlights the world’s best junior tennis players. Ryan made it to the second round of the main draw by defeating the #12 seed Dimitry Likhogrud of Belarus, 6-0,6-1, he lost in the round of 32 to Sam Reichbach 6-0,6-1.

Recently Ryan played the “ Palm Beach Gardens “ Welcome” Super series where he made it to the consolation finals losing a nail biter to the winner Owen Medrano 6-3,4-6, 10-8.

Ryan’s older brother Jason Fox is part of the Varsity tennis team at Saint Andrews School in Boca Raton and recently won his boys division in the districts finals held at Saint Andrews tennis courts. The districts high school tennis tournament is held every year and pits the top players from all the local schools.

In addition, Jason has been training at the world famous “ Pro World” tennis academy in Delray Beach  and he has been having great matchplay and wins playing the USTA Junior circuit in Florida and making it to the consolation finals of the “ Fountains Country Club Junior Championships” in Lake Worth Florida where he lost to the # 6 seed Tony Yuanaki, 6-2,

On the heel of the great progress on the Florida Circuit noted above, The Fox Brothers head to Havana, Cuba in the summer to compete in the ITF Copa Horizontes Amistad and we expect them to do well in this and other upcoming summer tournaments.
