Iesha Shepherd and Afrika Smith perform well in collegiate tennis

Iesha  Shepherd and Afrika Smith heat up the courts in tennis action for their respective colleges.

Iesha  plays for The Chicago State Cougars  and won four of her final six singles contests over the last two months. Iesha teamed up with Vougars teammate Anastasiia Goncharova for a three-match doubles winning streak playing at No. 3.

Iesha who is a sophomore recently received CSU Scholar-Athlete recognition

Afrika Smith who is a freshman plays for Bethune Cookman Eildcats.
Alongside teammate Reannha Butt Afrika won in doubles against Savannah State decisively 6-0. In the previous week Afrika teamed up with Reannha to win 6-4 over Florida A&M.

The Bahamas Lawn Tennis Association congratulates Iesha and Afrika as they continue to represent well, we wish them much success in their tennis journeys.
