Iesha plays for The Chicago State Cougars and won four of her final six singles contests over the last two months. Iesha teamed up with Vougars teammate Anastasiia Goncharova for a three-match doubles winning streak playing at No. 3. Iesha who is a sophomore recently received CSU Scholar-Athlete recognition Afrika Smith who is a freshman plays for Bethune Cookman Eildcats. Alongside teammate Reannha Butt Afrika won in doubles against Savannah State decisively 6-0. In the previous week Afrika teamed up with Reannha to win 6-4 over Florida A&M.The Bahamas Lawn Tennis Association congratulates Iesha and Afrika as they continue to represent well, we wish them much success in their tennis journeys.
