Ignite Basketball & Dance Tournament  Saturday, 10 March 2012
Venue: Kendal G.L. Isaacs gynasium
Time: 3-8pm
Admission: Free

Ignite Basketball & Dance Tournament  takes place Saturday, 10 March 2012 at Kendal G.L. Isaacs Gynasium from 3-8pm - Entrance is free and the event will feature music by local DJs, live performances during the halftime show, a slam-dunk competition as well as free giveaways, prizes and fun for all. Police and Torchbearer volunteer staff will be on hand to ensure a welcome environment. Food and drinks by local vendors will be on sale. All basketball lovers, families and the general public are invited to attend and enjoy the day.


BASKETBALL DETAILS: Basketball teams from Nassau and the Family Islands will represent their constituencies and compete for the Grand Prize. The Bahamas Basketball Federation will handle all official competition business during the  Ignite tournament.

DANCE DETAILS: The dance element of  Ignite will feature up to five (5) teams from various constituencies. These teams will step and perform modern dance routines as part of a competition and also for the entertainment portion.
