Congratulations go out to the Winners and Runners-up of our recently held Junior Nationals. Approximately 70 entrants participated in the annual tournament.  Also, scores of family members, friends, and tennis enthusiasts came out to cheer for their favourite player.  Special thanks go out to Tournament Director Wesley Rolle, and Ceron Rolle & Steve Taylor who rendered assistance. Appreciation is also extended to  Christina Galanos, LLb for sponsoring the trophies;  Michelle Telecanos for ensuring that the courts and facility were in order and Nadine Munroe who assisted with Registration.

New to the Jr. Nationals this year, was a group of newly trained Roving Umpires, Shena Bowleg, Eulona Dean, Esther Newton and Perry Newton who participated in an Umpire Training course several weeks ago, facilitated by our very own Mickey Williams.  We thank Mr. Williams for offering this course to interested persons within the tennis community.

These new Umpires were again at work at on the courts at our ITF Junkanoo Bowl held this past week. Added to the group for this event was Mr. Brent Johnson. We thank each of them for their service!

The BLTA thanks all participants and helpers who contributed in any way whether directly or indirectly to the success of the 2018 Jr. Nationals.  Please see below our Winners and Runners-up.
