Kofi Bowe in the singles and doubles semifinals of the USTA Rick Macci Tennis Tournament

Bahamian Kofi Bowe advanced to the semifinals of the USTA's Rick Macci International Spring Break Challenger.   Kofi entered the Boys U16s event which was held in Boca Raton, Florida. Kofi defeated Jack Kreisberg (USA)  6-4, 6-0  to advance to the quarterfinals. He received a walkover to the semifinals where he played his doubles partner Trey Hardersen of Florida and lost 4-6, 1-6.

Kofi who hails from Grand Bahama also played well but lost in doubles semifinals action. Kofi and his partner Trey fought hard but lost in 2 close sets 6-7(4), 6-7(5) to Ricardo Fakhoury and Alexandre Mitterrand(USA).
 
The Bahamas Lawn Tennis Association congratulates Kofi on a wonderful run in this USTA tournament and wishes him continued success.
