Lucayan Cup beach soccer tournament underway in Nassau

Nassau, Bahamas - The Lucayan Cup beach soccer tournament is underway and runs until Sunday at the Malcolm Park's beach soccer area.

The first match started Friday with a match between Bahamas and Mexico.  Saturday, Trinidad & Tobago takes on Mexico at 4pm, and on Sunday, Bahamas will play Trinidad & Tobago.

The friendly tournament is hosted by the Bahamas Football Association and provides teams an opportunity to compete as a lead up to the 2017 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup.

Game admission is only $5 and the event is sponsored by the Ministry of Tourism, Heineken, Toyota, and Bahamas Waste.
