On behalf of Lucayan Lightning Swim
Team
members, I would like to publicly thank the organizers and supporters
of last week's activities for the G.B. CARIFTA team members. Our
swimmers were delighted to be included in the celebrations with the
Track and Field Team.
Mr.
James Vega, Reverend Lindy Russell, Oswald "The Insider" Simmons, Ms.
Sandra Laing and Mr. Wayne Smith orchestrated a great week for the
athletes. We thank you for your time, enthusiasm and years of dedication
to children.
We
hope that exposure such as this will encourage other young people on
Grand Bahama to understand the myriad of benefits derived from
involvement in all sports.
