Major League Baseball to offer free summer camps in Nassau, Bahamas

Major League Baseball is holding a FREE summer program from July 11 to August 6  for Bahamian players entering the 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grades.

The program will be conducted by former MLB players and coaches in partnership with local coaching staff.

Open tryouts for the program will be held in Nassau on Sunday, June 12 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Registration is required; parents and players interested in participating in the tryouts should contact BahamasTryouts@mlb.com to register and for more information on times, locations, and how to register.

CAMP 1 from July 11-July 23, for players going into GRADES 11 AND 12;

and CAMP 2 from July 25-August 6, for players going into GRADES 9 AND 10. To select players for the program, open tryouts will be held in Nassau on June 12.
