The Bahamas Lawn Tennis Association(BLTA) is raising up the next generation of tennis players by providing a pathway for new beginners into tennis.

On this past Saturday new entrants participated in The BLTA "Play Tennis" program held at The National Tennis Centre. The program is attracting first timers to the sport of tennis.

So far this year we saw the talented juniors Sydney Clarke and Donte Armbrister assist with their time and talent to the program. The visual of the junior athletes on court encourages the youngsters and provides hope for the future generation.

If you have never played tennis before or if you want to refresh yourself you can attend the sessions to learn this sport at no charge.

There is only a minimal registration fee of $1.

The sessions are fun and interactive as tennis is taught in a learning environment.

The next free tennis session will be held on Saturday, February 8th at 10:30am at The National Tennis Centre. All kids ages 5-17 are invited.

The opportunities that await are great!
