Lyford Cay Dragons Football Club hosted
their first ever coaching camp with over 120 boys and girls, aged 4-16,
enjoying up to 3 days of extensive coaching with some of the top football
coaches from the ‘Elite Soccer Academy’ based in New Jersey, United States.
The Dragons Football Club extended the invitation for
the camp to players from their own teams and also players from a number of
other teams and schools in Nassau. The players greatly benefited from the
weekend course as the coaching staff excelled at helping the players learn and
improve their football playing skills, as well as helping to enforce a
sense of teamwork, dedication, and responsibility.

Craig Massey, Head Coach for the Dragons said “The camp
was a major success and proved to be an enjoyable and positive learning
experience for both our players and players from other clubs and schools. We look forward to hosting the ‘Elite Soccer Academy’ coaches again to help
improve the standard of youth football here in Nassau.”

The weekend also included a clinic for club and school coaches. The Elite Soccer Academy coaches shared their
excellent knowledge of the latest methods of training for individual
players and teams
