Bremerton, Wash. - The Kitsap Soccer Club today announced that it has reached a two-year agreement - the first of its kind for the club - with Bahamian international midfielder Cameron Hepple.

Hepple is a 5' 11", 21-year-old who played in the USL's Premier Development League last season for the Bradenton Academics. In 14 matches he logged 890 minutes, registering two goals and two assists (8 pts.)

His crowning moment during the past PDL season occurred in the league division finals when his assist led to the match's only goal and Bradenton's advancing to the league quarterfinals.

Hepple burst on the scene as a teenager, following trials with Southampton and Wolverhampton Wanderers in the English Premier League, before going on to play domestically for Bears FC in the Bahamian New Providence Football League. He comes to the Pumas following trials with Portsmouth.

Hepple left the Bahamas to play college soccer in the United States in 2006, eventually deciding upon Bowling Green State University. Hepple earned all-conference honors twice in his collegiate career in 2009 - and also in 2007.

The speedster is a native of Nassau, Bahamas (St. Andrew's) and led BG in scoring in 2009, with 10 goals and 21 points. He scored nearly half of BG's goals last season, including game-winners against both Marshall and Florida Atlantic. Despite suffering injury, he amassed that point total in only 12 matches.

Hepple is a full international for the Bahamas National Football Team. He played for the Bahamas U-17 and U-23 teams before making his senior debut in World Cup qualification match against Dominica as a 15-year-old. Hepple has since earned 12 caps, seven of those in World Cup qualifiers.

"Cameron really caught our eye with his speed at the national quarterfinals in Laredo last summer," said owner Robin Waite. "He'll be a tremendous asset to what was already a very good team."
