Eleuthera, Bahamas - In games played on Saturday 2 March, 2013 in the Eleuthera Junior Baseball League:

In Spanish Wells:

Play continued in Spanish Wells despite the cold weather and the drizzling rain. In the Coach Pitch Division –  (Spanish Wells)  Hook n’ Jook  - rolled over  the  (Rock Sound)  Coco Plums with impressive hitting of the long ball by the young girls on the Hook N’ Jooks team and some smart fielding.

In Minor Division the (Green Castle)  Scotia Bank Dragons won over the (Harbour Island)  Briland Tornados by default while the (Rock Sound) Sports Center Marlins and the (Spanish Wells) Sluggers had the day off.

In the Junior Division – (Spanish Wells)  Contenders stopped the (Rock Sound)  NuView Stingreay in 5 innings 13 to 3. The outstanding players were Chandler Albury who pitched five strong innings striking out 9 batters, and Kirby Albury did an outstanding job behind the plate and going 3 for 3 at the plate with 2 tripples.

Play continues this coming week-end in Rock Sound with the (Rock Sound) Sports Center Marlins vs. the (Green Castle)  Scotia Bank Dragons, and in Spanish Wells with the (Spanish Wells) Sluggers vs. the (Harbour Island)  Briland Tornados both in the Minor Division.
