Results of the 2015 Potcakeman Triathlon

Simon Lowe comes across the finish line taking top place in the male category.

Over 200 people took part in this year's Powerade Potcakeman Triathlon hosted by the Bahamas Alliance for Animal Rights and Kindness (BAARK) at Jaws Beach, Clifton Heritage Park, on September 5th. Event proceeds go towards BAARK!’s spay/neuter and education programmes across The Bahamas.

The Triathlon includes a 750m swim, a 21k bike, and a 5k run. The kid's event includes a 100m swim, 5k bike, and 1k run.

The men’s overall winner was Simon Lowe and taking the women's top place was Julie Salas. Full results can be seen HERE

Sarah Kennedy, event coordinator expressed the following after the event on Facebook thanking her event director Lori Feingold Roach and volunteers. Also the Baark and David Prabhus blue crew.

"Congratulations to our new crowned champions Simon Lowe and Julie Salas. Performance of the day goes to 13-year-old Anya MacPhail for beating all the guys and gals in the relay swim,” said Kennedy.
