Shaunae Miller-Uibo breaks world record in women’s 200-meter

Bahamian Olympic 400m champion Shaunae Miller-Uibo broke Allyson Felix’s world record in the women’s 200-meter straight event on May 4th at the Adidas Boost Boston Games, running 21.76. Miller-Uibo held the Bahamas women’s 200m and indoor 300m national records.

Miller-Uibo blew past Olympian medalist Natasha Hastings of the United States, with a second place time of 22.50 and fellow American Kimberlyn Duncan,  placing third with a time of 22.81.
