Forging their way forward, Strikers Boxing Club continues to carve out their niche on the world stage and proving that this tiny nation of the Bahamas belongs there.

This year alone, Strikers Boxing Club has competed in three of the largest international boxing tournaments in the world. In June of this year, Strikers took a 7 man team to the Title National Boxing Championship in Hot Springs, Arkansas, where they competed with 500 of the top boxers in the nation bringing home 3 bronze medals and 3 National Championship Belts.

In August, Team Strikers travelled to Kansas City, Missouri to compete in the 2015 Ringside World Championships, which is the largest boxing tournament in the world, consisting of some 1600 boxers from around the world. With only a two-man team, Strikers dominated, bringing home 2 world championship belts.

The 2015 Paul Murphy World Title Belt Championships in Atlanta, GA. Strikers Boxing Club accepted the invitation and took 8 boxers and 3 coaches to the Paul Murphy World Title Belt Championship last week.

Taking the team consisting of head coach Ronn Rodgers, assistant coaches Kayla Johnson and Jose Cruz along with 8 of their boxers – Kendric Stuart (123lbs), Tyrone Stuart (141 lbs), Rudolph Regis (141 lbs), Hubert Fernander (165lbs), Israel Johnson (178 lbs), D’Angelo Swaby (201 lbs), Davan Hamilton (201 lbs) and Davon Hamilton (201 lbs)

The tournament hosted over 600 boxers from the USA, Canada and throughout the Caribbean. Team Strikers represented the Bahamas exceptionally winning 2 bronze, 1 silver and bringing home 4 world title belts.
