New Providence Cycling Association Summer Sprint Classic for month of August.

The first race was held on Saturday 23rd  covering 20 miles starting and finish Bahamar Blvd to Lyford Cay  and back, this was perhaps one of our shortest road race for the season. This race was short, fast, and prove to have excitement throughout the course of the race. At the half way mark  Deangelo Superman Sturrup make an attack on the group of cyclists around the half way mark, the group/Pelton make several attempts to reel him in before the race ended, but all attempts failed as Superman Sturrup continued his solo breakaway, riding to the finish line ahead of the group to capture his second win for this season.  Tracey Sweeting out sprinted Liam Holowesko for second place on an uphill finish.
