NASSAU, The Bahamas -- The Ministry of Youth, Sports
and Culture held a press conference on
Wednesday, February 15, at the Thomas A. Robinson National Stadium to
make
the public aware of, and garner support for, Team Bahamas in its quest
for
first place at the 2017 CARIFTA Games. Coaches say their participants
are ready to propel the country to the number 1 spot.
CARIFTA Judo will
take place April 5-9 at the Kendal Isaacs Gymnasium; CARIFTA Water Polo will be held April 7-9 at the Betty Kelly Kenning Swim Complex; CARIFTA Swimming, April 15-19 at the Betty Kelly Kenning Swim Complex and CARIFTA Track and Field in Curacao, April 14-16.
