Atlantis, Paradise Island’s Annual Division I Men’s Early-Season College Tournament November 23-25, 2016 on AXS TV and ESPN


PARADISE ISLAND, BAHAMAS - The highly-anticipated early-season college basketball tournament begins on Wednesday, November 23, with the first round of games. Appearing in the 2016 Battle 4 Atlantis are eight top-tier teams, including Michigan State

University, University of Louisville, Wichita State University, Baylor University, Louisiana State University, Virginia Commonwealth University, St. John’s University, and Old Dominion University.

The first day of the 2016 Battle 4 Atlantis welcomes four games with the below matchups:

Game 1: Wichita State University vs. Louisiana State University (live at 12:00 PM EST on ESPN2)

Game 2: Baylor University vs. Virginia Commonwealth University (live at 2:30 PM EST on ESPN2)

Game 3: Michigan State University vs. St. John’s University (live at 7:00 PM EST on AXS TV)

Game 4: Old Dominion University vs. University of Louisville (live at 9:30 PM EST on AXS TV)

The annual Battle 4 Atlantis once again falls during the Thanksgiving holiday, scheduled to take place November 23-25, 2016. The 12-game, three-day tournament is regarded as one of the most challenging early-season tournaments, following six years of high-level teams and success.

As part of Atlantis’ multiyear TV agreements for media rights with ESPN and AXS TV, all 2016 Battle 4 Atlantis games will be aired live on ESPN, ESPN2, and AXS TV. The entirety of the 12-game tournament will take place in Atlantis’ Imperial Arena, the unique and impressive 3,900-seat arena.
