Two Great Wins In El Salvador for The Bahamas Girls and Boys U14 Team

On March 14th the Bahamas Girl and Boys Teams were successful in their matches in El Salvador. The Bahamas continues to do well in the U14 tennis team play where various countries from the Caribbean and Latin American Region compete to move on to the next round of play in the U14 category.

In singles play on the girls side, Emma Weech won convincingly over Koylass in two sets 6-0 6-2 and Elana Mackey also won over Assang in three sets 6-4, 2-6, 6-1. Donesha Gibson and Emma Weech lost the doubles matchup 4-6,4-6.

In singles play Kofi Bowe lost 1-6,1-6 to Dickinson and Jacobi Bain was successful winning in two sets over Gandini of The Dominican Republic 7-5 6-0. The Boys also won their doubles match in a nail-biter final that went to three sets. The duo of Bowe and Bain won the third set by two points over The Dominican Republic 11-9.
