(VIDEO) Dr. Susan J Wallace discusses her new book, "The Crucified One…His Name Is Jesus"

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island - Author Dr. Susan J Wallace, the founder of Access Ministries International and Access Bible College, discusses her soon to be released book, "The Crucified One…His Name Is Jesus". In her own words, Dr. Wallace provides the following synopsis to outline the contents of her book;
The signs of the time indicate that the message
of this book is an urgent one, and it gives us an opportunity to study the role
of Jesus from His first coming to earth as the Messiah, to His Second Coming as
the Righteous Judge. This book is an
appeal, therefore, to people everywhere to discover the real
Crucified Christ, and to put Him in His rightful
place in the Church and in the hearts of men, before He comes again.
This
book, “The Crucified One” opens the eyes of many to Jesus in His many roles: as
the Son of God, as the Angel of Yahweh, as the God-Man, the Last Adam, but pivotal
to all, Jesus, the Messiah, who came to redeem the lost .
Jesus
Revealed: A vivid picture of Jesus
as the Christ, opens up to us a new depth of revelation about Jesus, and helps
us to appreciate the price He paid for our redemption. It was through His
blood, and pain, and suffering, that He reconciled us back to God. His suffering
can never be over-emphasized. Pressure was brought upon Him from all sides
though He was innocent, He was tried by kangaroo court, being convicted on
false evidence. There was disregard for all proper legal procedures. Although
He was innocent, He suffered the utmost
cruelty in His death - pain, agony, suffering and the humiliation that was thrust
upon Him, the Son of God, just for you and me – just to make a way for us to
come back to our Creator!
There Is
Power In The Blood of Jesus: The blood of Jesus
Christ is most significant throughout His
whole Crucifixion. It has power to reconcile us to God, cleanse and sanctify
us, promote joy and holy living, gives us the victory, and hence, life. But Jesus’
suffering was for righteousness sake. When He cried from the Cross
, “I
thirst!” just before He hung His
head and gave up His Spirit, He was not
thirsting for water or the sour wine they raised to His lips, His thirst was spiritual.
He was thirsting for the things He came to bring:
(a) The salvation of His people, taken away by
Adam.
(b) The return of God’s righteousness, and
(c)
The return of God’s Holy Spirit who fled when Adam sinned.
We are reminded by Jesus Himself that when we
take Communion, or the Body and Blood of Christ, we should do this in remembrance of His death. Jesus had to die a cruel death, because He
was the substitute Lamb of God for the lamb that was sacrificed for man’s sin
on the Day of Atonement. But He died once and for all – no repetition of the
act, and it was for all – both Jews and Greeks alike.
Why did
Jesus Have To Die? He had to become the
Last Adam because the first Adam
rebelled against God and broke the very law God gave him to obey. It
gave the devil the opportunity to assume authority over the whole earth. He had
to die to redeem us lost sinners. Besides this, Jesus had to become the perfect
sacrifice for all peoples at all times. Jesus was also pivotal in God’s
universal plan, and His death was necessary for the furtherance of this plan.
Jesus, the
Centre of Worship: Did you know that Jesus
is the Centre of Worship? He is the
secret
to true worship because worship has no significance without the cross of
Christ. The Cross offers both life and death to the believer: life to the new man,
and death to the old.
Worship has no significance without the Cross of Christ. True worship is
knowing the cross of Christ within, and daily letting it transform us and break
the control of sin over our lives. Only the Cross of Christ can heal the inner
man, and transform our doings and experiences of the past into character.
The Devil On Duty …24 /
7: Of course, wherever God is at work, the devil
is not far away scheming about how the work could be stopped. The once-anointed
cherub of God has as many evil and devious ways as he has names. Known as the
great dragon, he uses his strength, and ferociousness to put ungodly fear in
the saints. The name: “the devil” enables him to accuse God’s saints.
But the devil also uses the antichrist
spirit to affect Christianity; the strategy of apostasy to change our loyalty
to God to loyalty to him. He is the father of lies, and lies are the natural
product of every other sin.
Jesus Conquered Pain and
Sin With Passion: He prepared Himself by being anointed for
burial; with His triumphal entry into Jerusalem, although He was a wanted man;
He shared the Last Supper or New Covenant Meal with His disciples, then spent
“His most anguished night on earth” (Philip Yancey).
The benefits of His Death included full
salvation and the power of forgiveness, the blessings of Jesus’ resurrection,
resurrection power to conquer death, the resurrection of the saints, sharing
the glory of Christ Jesus rather than the shame of the devil, and the
glorification of the saints to enter heaven.
Jesus Is Coming Again As
The Righteous Judge: Are we ready for the
Lord’s return? Jesus said to His disciples that the signs of His coming will be:
• False messiahs will appear during the first
half of the Tribulation, setting up
the
abomination
of desolation (Matt. 24:4,15); (Luke
21:8), which comes in Mid-Tribulation, when the
Antichrist breaks his covenant with Israel and rules the earth.
• There will be wars and rumours of wars with
nations against nations (Matt. 24:6, 7)
• There will be famines and pestilence (Matt.
24:7)
• Earthquakes will come (Matt. 24:7)
• The Jews will be persecuted by all nations
(Matt. 24:9).
• There will be many offenses and betrayals
(Matt. 24:10).
• False prophets will appear before the middle
of the 70th. week or mid-Tribulation.
• Iniquity will abound (1 Tim. 4:1-3); (2 Tim.
3:1-8).
• Love will wax cold (Matt. 24:12); (2 Tim.
3:1-5).
• The Gospel of the Kingdom will be preached
unto all the world, as a witness unto the
nations, not to each person of all nations
(Matt. 24:13,14).
•
The
abomination of desolation will be set up (Matt. 24:15); (2 Thess. 2:3,4).
• There will be the flight of Israel into the
wilderness (Matt. 24:16-20).
• The Great Tribulation will come (Matt.
24:21,22, 29-31).
• False messiahs and false prophets will
appear after the middle of the 70th week
(Matt. 24:23-26).
• The conditions of the days of Noah and Lot
will be repeated (Matt. 24:37-39).
• Fearful sights and distress will appear on
the earth (Matt. 24:4-31).
• There will be great signs in the heavens and
on earth (Matt. 24:4-31).
