Grand Bahama Island -  Enclosed is Part Two of The Bahamas Weekly coverage of  the official opening ceremony and ribbon cutting of the Ross University Bahamas academic facilities on Friday, February 20, 2009. Dr. Mary Coleman, Dean Ross School of Medicine was Mistress of Ceremony and Bishop Sobig Kemp offered the invocation.

In  this video you will see and hear remarks made by Dr . Thomas C. Shepherd, President Ross University; Daniel Hamburger, CEO DeVry Inc.;  Dr. Nicholas Fox, the first Bahamian graduate of Ross University; and Timothy Yu, President, Student Government Association for Ross University.

All video was shot on location at the grounds of Seahorse Plaza in Freeport.

Ross University was founded in 1978 and is a provider of medical and veterinary education offering doctor of medicine and doctor of veterinary medicine degree programs. The School of Medicine is located in Dominica, West Indies, and the Freeport, Grand Bahama campus recently opened in January 2009. The School of Veterinary Medicine is located in St. Kitts.
