Nassau, Bahamas -  Author Teri M. Bethel is helping married couples put their relationships on the right track through her recently published book, My Marriage Matters. In this second edition, Bethel addresses a number of issues common to married couples such as: respect, honor, infidelity, sex, addictions, soul ties, sickness and more.

A former Director of a local Marriage Ministry with her husband Tellis, Teri believes that the book is a handy tool for couples who want peace and harmony in their homes, as well as a more intimate relationship with each other.

What began as a series of weekly letters to improve and restore relationships in their church’s Marriage group blossomed into a book of real life anecdotes soaked with a dollop of humor for good measure.

Although the book is written primarily in a story format using real life scenarios, what is most convenient are the prayers at the end of each chapter which helps the reader to recognize the problem in a given situation and work towards a positive solution.

Suzanne, an Amazon customer had this to say about My Marriage Matters:

“Teri aptly sums up the foundation of her book's message when she says "love is the only weapon that the enemy cannot counter." Like a crash course or a life raft for a sinking ship, this little book contains the Biblical essentials in a hands-on approach to transform your relationship from just surviving to truly thriving!

"Full of real-life anecdotes, humor and practical suggestions for making intentional, "active" love' a way of life for both husband and wife, one cannot read this little guide and not take an honest self-assessment and be challenged to make his or her own marriage a purposefully joyful, engaging, life-giving relationship.”

An artist and handbag designer by profession, Teri Bethel is also the author of Love on Maruba Island (a romance novel); When My Spirit Sings (a book of inspirational poems); Trapped On Kooky Island and The Case of The Missing Boat People (both children’s supernatural adventure stories). She is also the producer of several fashion DVD tutorials for handbag designers or hobbyists.

My Marriage Matters is now available at Logos Book Store, 100% Bible Book Store (Madeira & Marathon Mall), as well as the book store at Bahamas Faith Ministries in Nassau. Her books are also available online at Amazon.com in print and Kindle formats or visit: www.booksbybethel.com.
