Police in Abaco discovered a large marijuana field on Monday 22nd January 2018.

Reports are that shortly after 1:00pm, officers acting on information went to an area off S.C Bootle Highway in Marsh Harbor, Abaco, where they discovered a marijuana field with approximately 3,103 plants, ranging between three inches to four feet in height. The plants has a street value of 1.5 million dollars...

24 year old Jovan Opell Nixon of Holmes Rock was arraigned on Monday 22nd January 2018, before Deputy Chief Magistrate Debbye Ferguson in Magistrate Court #1 on (1) count of Stealing, (1) count of Shopbreaking and Possession of instrument for burglary. He pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 3 years at the Bahamas Department of Correctional services.

He was also arraigned before Magistrate Charlton Smith in Magistrate Court #2 on matters of Stealing, Shopbreaking and stealing from a shop...

RBPF: Second body recovered in Bimini waters on Sunday - Jan 22, 2018 - 10:18:14 AM

Reports are that on Sunday 21st January 2018 shortly after 4:00pm, police received information that the body of a black male was seen floating some 50ft off shore in an area near Bailey Town. The body was recovered and was identified as the other missing male, who was reported missing and last seen sitting in a small boat anchored at the rear of a business establishment on Wednesday 17th January 2018. 

The lifeless body of the other male was recovered on Thursday 18th January 2018. An autopsy will be performed to determine the exact cause of death...

Police on Long Island are investigation the circumstance surrounding a house fire in which a man perished, on Wednesday, 18th January, 2018.

Two male juveniles’ ages 15 and 16 years, both of Freeport, Grand Bahama, were arraigned before Magistrate Renkin Johnson in Magistrate Court #3 on Murder charges. The 15 year old was arraigned on the murder that occurred on January 4th 2018 and the 16 year old was arraigned on the murder that occurred on the 1st January 2018.
