An American male is in police custody after he was found in possession of a quantity of Dangerous Drugs at the Freeport, Harbor.

Reports are that on Wednesday 22nd November 2017 shortly after 4:00pm, security officers and police officers arrested an American male at the Freeport, Harbor after he was found in possession of 1.1 lbs. of suspected cocaine that has a street value of $11,500.00 police are actively investigating this matter...

The police are appealing to the public for information to assist in their investigation into a shooting incident that has left one male in hospital on Tuesday 21st November 2017.

Reports are that, shortly before 12 noon, a man was walking on Providence Avenue, Chippingham, when the occupants of a Nissan Cube vehicle approached and shot him before speeding off. The man was transported to hospital where he is detained in stable condition...

Five men are in police custody in Bimini after they were found in possession of a quantity of dangerous drugs.

Reports are that on Sunday 19th November 2017 shortly before 9:00pm, a team of officers on the island of Bimini executed a search warrant at a residence on Buccaneers Point, South Bimini and discovered 4.5 lbs. of cocaine and 1.5 lbs. of marijuana. Five men, two Jamaicans and three Bahamians were arrested and taken into police custody. Police are actively investigating this matter...
