5 arrested by Eleuthera police for Drug Possession - Nov 26, 2014 - 11:03:59 AM

Eleuthera, Bahamas - POLICE in Eleuthera took three adult males and two adult females into custody for possession of dangerous drugs on Tuesday 25th November 2014.

According to reports, around 11:00am, police in Eleuthera acting on intelligence executed a search warrant at a home located in Gregory Town, where they uncovered a quantity of marijuana. The five suspects were taken into custody for questioning with regards to this discovery.

An 18 - year old male was taken into custody for possession of dangerous drugs on Tuesday 25th November 2014...

2 men arrested for stolen property: Two men ages 33 and 31, are in custody after they were arrested for possession of a quantity of stolen items on Tuesday 25th November 2014...

Exuma police seize over 100 rounds of ammunition - Nov 25, 2014 - 12:20:52 PM

Exuma, Bahamas - According to reports, around 1:00pm on Monday 24th November 2014, Police in Exuma acting on intelligence, went to Williams Town where they uncovered over 100 rounds of ammunition in a plastic bag hidden in bushes. No one was taken into custody for this find.

Investigations are ongoing.

Nassau, Bahamas - The police are seeking public's help in solving two armed robberies.

In the first incident, shortly after 9:00am on Sunday 23rd November 2014, a man was driving his silver Nissan Sentra vehicle license number 35007 on Abundant Life Road Road, when two men in a blue vehicle forced him off the road. One of the men armed with a handgun then robbed him of his vehicle and sped off.

Freeport, Grand Bahama - Police in Grand Bahama are investigating an incident that has left a male with stab wounds about the body.

Reports are that on Monday 24th November 2014 shortly before 3:00am, police received information that a male while at his residence in the Eight Mile Rock area reported that a man who was described as slim built, wearing a mask and armed with a knife had entered his home, a struggle ensued between he and the intruder that resulted in him being stabbed about the body. EMS personnel were called to the scene and he is said to be listed in serious condition at the Rand Memorial Hospital...

Nassau man arrested after fatal stabbing of a woman - Nov 17, 2014 - 1:55:11 AM

Nassau, Bahamas - A 30 year man is in custody following a stabbing incident that has left a woman dead on Sunday 16th November 2014.

According to reports, shortly before 9:00pm, the victim was involved in an altercation with the suspect who is her boyfriend at a home located at Alfred Way off Winders Terrace. The altercation resulted in the suspect fatally stabbing the victim multiple times about her body. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

A short while later police acting on intelligence went to a home located at Shrimp Road off Carmichael Road, where they met the suspect suffering from several self-inflicted stab wounds...

Grand Bahama traffic fatality - Nov 13, 2014 - 9:42:24 PM

Freeport, Bahamas - Police in Grand Bahama are investigating a traffic fatality that has claimed the life of a female resident.

Reports are that on Thursday 13th November 2014 shortly after 5:00pm, police received information that a traffic accident had occurred on Queens Highway in the Pirates Cove area, involving a 2002 Buick Century and a silver Jaguar. The collision resulted in both vehicles receiving extensive damages. The driver and passenger of the Buick received minor injuries and were transported to the Rand Memorial Hospital by EMS personnel. The driver of the Jaguar succumbed to her injuries at the scene and her passenger was transported to the Rand Memorial Hospital by EMS personnel where she is listed in serious condition.
