Shortly after before 9:00am, a male was standing on the outside of his residence on Bowe Alley off Finlayson Street, when he got into a verbal altercation with another man, who produced a firearm and shot him before running away...

Police seek the public’s assistance  in solving 3 armed robberies: In the first incident, according to reports, shortly before 11:00am, Monday, 17th September, 2018 a male armed with a firearm, entered a gaming establishment on Wulff Road near to Hepburn Alley, held an employee at bay and robbed her of a cell phone and the establishment of cash, before making good his escape.

In the second incident, according to reports, shortly after 11:00pm, a female had just arrived at a residence on Wind Street, Sea Breeze Estate, when she was approached by four men armed with firearms, who robbed her of cash and other items...

The males on seeing the officers fled the area on foot. Officers then searched the abandoned building and discovers (15).223 rounds of ammunition, (60) .40 rounds of ammunition, and (34) 9mm rounds of ammunition with a total of (109) rounds of ammunition...

Damargio Whymms age 24 years of #3 Flamingo Garden, New Providence, was arraigned before Magistrate Charlton Smith in Magistrate Court #2 on the charge of Murder and Conspiracy to Commit Murder.

Reports are that on Tuesday 11th September 2018, shortly before 10:00pm, officers of the Central Detective Unit while on mobile patrol in the area of Coral Road and Royal Palm Way, observed a male on a motorcycle acting suspicious. The male upon seeing the officers fled the scene, and was observed throwing an object into bushes. Officers gave chase but the suspect was able to make good his escape. Officers went back to the area where they discovered a bag containing (2) two pistols with (13) live rounds of 9mm ammunition...
