The Nassau Music Society is thrilled to bring to Bahamian audiences the wondrous sound of the Quartetto di Cremona string quartet of Italy along with the amazing viola of Ambra Albek in 2 exciting performances!  It’s 5 world-class strings players all on the same stage on Saturday 21st January at 7:30 pm at the St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church on Princes Street and on Sunday 22nd January at 5:30 pm at St. Paul’s Church Hall.

Dreams really do come true! Sanches Thompson,  a Nassau student who recently migrated from Andros always wanted an opportunity to display her talent as a singer. Since winning the 2014 Super Talent of the Bahamas title, the 16 year old will be doing just that in 2015. 

Sanches has been working hard and will be featured on her first dance single entitled, THAT GIRL produced by David Hoyte and OilinSha Coakley. The song will be broadcast this week on local radio stations in The Bahamas and will also be available for purchase on iTunes.

The Grand Bahama Regatta and Heritage Festival takes place at Taino Beach on July 18th and 19th. 

Under the leadership of committee chairman, and new Freeport City Council Chairman,  Chervita Campbell, the team is determined to make this year's Regatta the best ever, and the entire Grand Bahama community is encouraged to get involved and support the continuance of a sloop sailing regatta for the island. 

While sailing and racing is going on at sea, Taino Beach park will be buzzing with activity. The Heritage Committee is busy planning to ensure that there will be ample native food, entertainment, and activities such as plaiting the maypole, etc., as well as arts and crafts on display...
