Underwater Photo Workshop/Competition Takes Place 2/22-3/1/14

its on-site dive operation, Neal Watson’s Bimini Scuba Center, are proud
to announce they will host
Shark Showdown Photography Week on
Feb 22 – March 1, 2014. An exciting underwater photography workshop
& competition focused on capturing spectacular images of Great
Hammerhead, Caribbean Reef and Bull sharks in their element, the event
features world-renowned underwater photographer David Doubilet and
innovative shark specialist Jeremiah Sullivan, founder of Shark Armor,
along with other experts.
Shark Showdown Photo Week follows the
inaugural Shark Showdown Film & Video week, which will take place at
Bimini Sands on 1/25 - 2/1/14. Both events are scheduled to take place
during the annual Great Hammerhead migration...

50th Annual Heart Ball at Melia
Nassau Beach Resort, formerly the Sheraton Nassau. The Heart Ball
Committee is very excited about this achievement and invites Corporate
Bahamas and the public to come and share this historical moment with
them.

26th Annual ShowBoats International Boys & Girls Clubs Rendezvous will
host the Second Annual Fishing Tournament on Friday, November 22
followed by a one-of-a-kind live auction during the Saturday night Gala
on
Saturday, November 23 at Atlantis, Paradise Island in the Bahamas with a special guest appearance by comedian Dennis Miller.
The
Bahamas is well known as one of the greatest sport fishing destinations
in the world, making it the perfect setting for the Second Annual
Fishing Tournament. Guests will enjoy a leisurely day fishing for
Kingfish, Dolphin, Wahoo, Tuna and more. Prizes will be awarded for
Overall Top and Biggest Fish Overall. Winners will be announced and
trophies awarded during the Hot Havana Nights poolside party Friday
evening.

diverse, from clear white to mystic blue. If there were an explosion of
the many shades of topaz, you would see the rainbow: white, yellow,
orange, blue, pink, brown, green and many more shades of topaz.
Explosions don’t just happen. There is always a reason for an explosion,
be it natural or other. On
November 18, 2012, there will be an explosion of topaz for a most worthy cause.

FLIFF on Location screening SCHEDULE for Grand Bahama - Oct 29, 2011 - 3:47:34 PM
“All Movies All
Day,” “All Access” and “Function Tickets” are now available for the Fort
Lauderdale International Film Festival on location at Grand Bahama
Island. In addition, organizers have released the full schedule of films
and special events to take place during the occasion, which will run
from Thursday, October 27 to Sunday, October 30.
In addition to two
workshops: Underwater Cinematography and Filmmaking in the Caribbean,
more than 25 films will be shown over three days during the inaugural
FLIFF On Location at the state of the art Canal House at Pelican Bay
Resort. Two films will be shown free of charge to the public in an
outdoor setting at Taino Beach and Count Basie Square.
All Access Passes are only $50 and available at Pelican Bay Hotel....
