Red Rose Ball Charity Event, November 2nd

Freeport, Bahamas - Come, take a journey down the Nile of Ancient Egypt with us as The Red Rose Ball Committee host it’s 14th, Annual Charity Event scheduled for Saturday, November 2nd, 2013, Cocktails and Awards presentation at 7:00 p.m. and Dinner at 8:00pm under the theme: “A journey down the Nile of Ancient Egypt”, where it all began.

The event will be held under the distinguish patronage of the Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas, the Rt. Hon. Perry G. Christie and Mrs. Bernadette Christie, who will both be attending in the Grand Ballroom at the Grand Lucayan. We invite you to join us for a wonderful evening as the Red Rose Ball Committee promises to make this an exciting and entertaining event while at the same time supporting a worthy cause.

You can definitely count on an evening of excellent company, fine dining and dancing.  The chance to participate in the in-house raffle alone is worth the price of the event ticket. The net proceeds from this event will go to assist the Completion of a Health Education Resource Center to hold workshops throughout the schools in an effort to continue the fight against this virulent disease HIV/AIDS and to continue educating the Grand Bahama community about HIV/ AIDS.

This disease should be a concern to us all and it cannot be eliminated with sporadic efforts.  It is going to take consistent collaboration in our community and worldwide connections to make real advances. We are sure you would want to come out and support this worthy.

We the RRBC along with Grand Lucayan staff have a wonderful evening planned for our attendees, Our decorator Mr. Andrew Forbes will transform the ballroom to that of a scene of Ancient Egypt.

The highlights of the evening will be the Entertainment starting with our opening act by the Bahamas Dance theatre, one you won’t want to miss. Our in house band for the evening is the Matrix Band.  Many more highlights such as winning of fabulous door Prizes and raffle prizes will be available on the night of the event.

Tickets for the event can be purchased at Steppin Out downtown and 196 Port Lucaya at a cost of $150.00 per person, so reserve your seats early for the best seats in the house. Come with us to Egypt!

Step 2: Remember that the Grand Ballroom, Grand Lucayan Resort is where you need to be, don’t be surprised if you don’t recognize it as it will be transformed into a room inspired by Ancient Egypt – the décor will be created by the design team of Crème de la Crème headed by Andrew J. Forbes the décor alone is an added reason to attend this worthwhile charity event,

Step 3: In-House Raffle tickets will be on sale during the ball from 7:10pm until time of drawing…Remember you have to be present to claim your winnings.
