Annual Bahamas Red Cross Ball 2020

Nassau, The Bahamas – The annual Ball of the Bahamas Red Cross Society, the premier ball of the country, will be held on Saturday, the 25th of January, 2020 at the BahaMar Convention Center, Cable Beach. His Excellency, The Most Honourable Cornelius A. Smith O.N., Governor General, of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas, has graciously agreed to lend his patronage for the event.

Our theme this year is an “Enchanted Garden” Our intent is to create a theme, with the end result giving our patrons the feeling of an evening in a garden of love, comfort and joy, especially after such a disastrous event as Hurricane Dorian.

Individual tickets are priced at $275.00, however, there are several levels of partnership, ranging from:

Platinum-$7500.00

Gold-$5000.00

General-$2750.00

The dress code is Black Tie.

The evening will begin with cocktails at 7pm, followed by dinner at 8pm. We will be providing the BEST entertainment in the country. The entertainment for the cocktail hour will be provided by the Royal Bahamas Police Force Pop Band. Our patrons will be serenaded during dinner with music provided by the world renowned Lou Adams Orchestra.

Our major entertainment attraction for the evening will be Visage, who will take us through the rest of the evening with upbeat dancing and music until…

The excitement continues throughout the night with lots of door and raffle prizes, valued at thousands of dollars. These prizes will be very affordable, at a low ticket price of 5 for $20.00 per ticket.

In addition, we expect to have a Grand Raffle Prize, with a trip for two-airfare only- to Amsterdam!!! Ticket price for this standalone raffle will be $100.00.

As usual, we will present a Corporate Donor Award to a Company who has assisted us on a regular basis, as well as an individual Award. Our Corporate Honoree is SunOil Ltd, and our Individual honoree is Gerald Sawyer.

Proceeds from the Ball will go directly towards assisting the Red Cross in not only defraying operational expenses, but to continue our much needed assistance for disaster relief for Dorian evacuees, as well as, expand upon current programs, such as our Meals on Wheels, After School Care, Junior Red Cross, and others too numerous to mention.

We are also happy to announce that we are honouring ten outstanding companies at a Platinum Reception at Government House prior to the Ball. Any company or individual that purchases a Platinum Table, will receive six invitations to the Reception at Government House. Some of the companies are:
