2011 Bahamas National Tree Lighting Ceromonies Announced

Nassau, Bahamas - The Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture is hosting the national Annual Christmas Tree Lighting ceremonies around the Commonwealth.

This year's theme is "Still Building Communities"
Official Lighting of National Christmas Tree in Nassau will be on Wednesday, 30th November, 2011 at 7 pm at Rawson Square, Bay Street, New Providence.
 
The Prime Minister, the Right Hon. Hubert Ingraham will be officially lighting the national Christmas tree.  There will also be the Prison Choir, as well as other bands and soloists performing, including the All Star Junkanoo Group.
