Police on New Providence are investigating a stabbing incident,
Wednesday 10th July, 2019 which has left an adult male dead and another
male detained in hospital.
reports, shortly after 9:00pm, two men were in the parking lot of a
business establishment on East Street South and Cox Way, when they got
into an altercation, which escalated, resulting in them stabbing each
other about the body...

According to reports, on Sunday 7th July 2019, shortly before 4:00am,
police were called to a business establishment on East Sunrise Highway
where it is reported that a lone gunman opened fire hitting two males.
One of the males sustained injuries to the upper body and the other to
the lower body. They were both transported to the Rand Memorial Hospital
via Emergency Medical Services. Both victims are listed in serious

Guana Cay,became aware of a shark bite incident, involving a 32 year old
American Tourist from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The victim was an

Reports are that on Thursday 4th July 2019, shortly after 2:00am,
police were called to the East Sunrise Highway area, where it was
reported that a male armed with a firearm shot two females. They both
sustained injuries to the leg area and were transported to the Rand
Memorial Hospital via private vehicle and ambulance. They are both
reported to be in stable condition.

Reports are that on Sunday 30th June 2019, police were called to the
East Sunrise Highway area, where a male was struck by a black Honda
Civic vehicle travelling east on East Sunrise Highway and failed to
stop. Police and EMS personnel were called to the scene. The pedestrian
was taken to the Rand Memorial Hospital where he was seen by doctor who
listed his injuries as serious. Police later located the black Honda
Civic vehicle and the 26 year old driver who is from Grand Bahama...

Reports are that on Monday 1st July 2019 shortly after 9:00pm, officers
of the Rapid Response Unit, while on routine patrol in the area of East
Sunrise Highway and Seahorse Road, attempted to pull over a grey Honda
Accord as a result of a traffic infraction. The vehicle refused to stop
and officers observed a container being thrown out of the vehicle and
retrieve the item, where it was discovered to contain suspected
marijuana. The vehicle was pulled over and two males both of Freeport,
