Police have taken two illegal firearms from the streets of New Providence in two separate incidents on Friday, 25th January, 2019 and have taken one man into custody.

In the first incident, according to reports, shortly after 1:00pm Southern Division Officers, acting on information went to a bushy area on Laird Street, where they searched and recovered a silver and black 9 millimeter pistol. No arrest was made in this incident.
