RBPF South Bimini: Firearm and Ammunition Arrest

Police on the Island of Bimini arrested a 54 year old male of South Bimini for possession of an illegal firearm and ammunition. 

Reports are that on Monday 17th February 2020 shortly after 11:00am, officers on the Island of South Bimini, while patrolling in the area of a business establishment, arrested the 54 year old male after they observed him brandishing a firearm. Officers acted quickly and recovered a black .9mm Glock pistol with (1) magazine that housed (13) live rounds of ammunition.

The suspect is expected to be arraigned before the Magistrate Court sometime this week.
