Behind HERC & LISA is designers Cardell J.E.McClam and Christopher D. John

Nassau, Bahamas - Born from the inspiration, knowledge and expertise of designer Cardell J. E. McClam, and joined with the passion and dedication of designer Christopher D. John, the label HERC & LISA is being seen and shared all over Facebook.

The new line
has a timeless and classic simplicity with a vintage flair and debuted in November 2012 at Fash│Art event in Nassau. TheBahamasWeekly.com contacted designer Christopher D. John to get more information. Here's what he had to say:

HERC - Cardell’s own grandfather, the corner stone of his family. A cancer survivor, a mentor, an inspiration.  He has given Cardell advice and direction which has often gotten him threw many situations, and has helped build the strong character we all know.  Strong, Masculine, Wise.

LISA - Christopher’s sister the cord that binds an d holds five siblings after a mother’s passing. She has always been available for sound advice and guidance for Christopher.  Strong, Warm, Feminine.

The brand represents a high fashion approach to mens and ladies apparel.  It takes from vintage inspirations and with varied textures and fabrics incorporates modern ideas and perspectives brings froth creations which have a universal appeal and are all strong masculine and feminine.

This year we plan on building on the scope and reach of the collection.

We have planned shows in Albuquerque New Mexico, April 2013, in Turks and Cacaos Islands, June 2013, and our very own review in September 2013 in Nassau.

We have and will continue to show at local exclusive parties and events about the Bahamas.  A featured designer at the Eyecon Launch event in February we have also shown at high schools here in Nassau.

We have and will continue to be featured in local e-publications such as Brutha Magazine. Also we have been notably worn by major style socialites at public fundraising events such as the Heart Ball.

At this time we would like to thank those that support, and invite everyone to follow along with us on our growth and expansions while we represent not only our fashion sensibilities but the Bahamas as well.
