There is a powerful rhetoric that has always circled throughout the nation when talking about politics: We Need Change. We are tired. We are exhausted, we are angry; we are in the need of hope.
Dear reader, my fellow Bahamians, I am here to tell you that you are the change that you want to see in this country.
There is a misconception that the Government is “in charge” of this great nation. People seem to believe that they have absolutely no say when the government makes decisions that will affect their lives. That is a terrible lie that has afflicted our people for decades. There is no metaphorical gap between the government and its people! My fellow Bahamians, you are the people who run this country! You are the ones who are in charge of your fate!
Election season is about to go into full swing, and it is time for Bahamian people to realize that you have the power to make a change. You are the driving force that can really make a difference to the outcome of the next election. I am here to remind you that the DNA party is the best vehicle to get you to this change.
The Democratic National Alliance has the best interest for the people of the Bahamas. Our party is committed to the future of the Bahamas and makes sure to listen to the voices of the people that we are representing. Our mission is to ensure the Bahamian people become owners within the cultural and economic milieu of our nation. Our mission states that we are devoted to upholding the democratic rule of law by promoting openness and accountability for our governmental affairs. We are the party committed to the people. Our party is not only for the Bahamian people, it is the Bahamian people!
We are just as affected by issues afflicting our country and plan to combat them when elected into parliament. Take for example Crime: it affects all of us. That is why we plan on establishing a National Intelligence Consortium and Agency; with this in place we would be able to build a more integrated and cohesive nationwide security surveillance network. But we need your help to do this. A vote for the DNA will ensure your voice enters parliament, and ensures that your voice will be heard.
Dear reader, my fellow Bahamian, you are in power. Choose the DNA party and make the change.
