On December 17th, leader of the FNM, Hubert Minnis, and his ratified candidate for Mt Moriah, Marvin Dames, joined residents from all communities in the Mt Moriah constituency for a Christmas event in the park that the candidate hopes to make an annual occasion.
The 300 plus students that attended were treated to hotdogs, hamburgers and soft drinks while parents participated in the raffle drawings winning prizes like bicycles, toy drones and tablets to name a few.
Former deputy prime minister and Mt Moriah MP, Tommy Turnquest, also joined the festivities which culminated in a brief address from the ratified candidate and a family movie night complete with popcorn, ice cream and cupcakes.
Marvin Dames reiterated his promise to become the representative that Mount Moriah can be proud of and thanked those volunteers that made this event such a huge success.
