Press Statement by Bradley B Roberts National Chairman Progressive Liberal Party:

As a Bahamian and as a nationalist I will not take the politically incorrect advice of certain persons in the FNM who suggest that I stay out of FNM business. I will not because they have proven to have a nasty political agenda and are driven by special interests to hand this country over to super wealthy foreigners and certain so called White Knights who think they are at a slave auction buying and selling the Bahamian people and our patrimony.

It now appears that Michael Pintard is intent on wrecking Dr. Hubert Minnis and by extension the Free National Movement.

Today I call on the Free National Movement to publicly separate itself and declare as uniquely unworthy and misleading, the public commentary attributed to Michael Pintard, the disgraced former FNM National Chairman and Senator, who rather than sit small after the colossal damage his conduct has visited upon our beloved country and his own Party, now seeks to take to the airwaves and print presses to spew his “Save the Bays” well-funded anti-Bahamas and Bahamian propaganda.

The entity affected negatively by Pintard’s persistence is the FNM and by extension its leader Dr. Hubert Minnis. Pintard is subtly suggesting in his commentary on social media that he did nothing wrong as he builds his case to suggest that Dr. Minnis and the FNM were complicit in throwing him under the bus in accepting his resignations from the two powerful posts he once held.

Pintard’s audaciously suggestion, “our democratic and civil liberties are at stake,” is telling and self-indicting in the wake of the now infamous audio tapes where the disgraced senator was heard directing and manipulating a continuous and disgusting enterprise against others and against the sovereign institutions of this country.

It was just recently that Parliament passed legislation pursuant to UN declarations aimed at strengthening the country’s anti-money laundering regime. Ostensibly while the leader of the FNM leader Dr. Minis and his appointed senator Pintard were debating the same, Pintard was busy negotiating the laundering of huge sums of money through local and foreign banking systems to fund criminality and the FNM leader was meeting with the gangsters he claimed were hired to execute the act of criminality.

THIS CORRUPT BEHAVIOUR BY THE LIKES OF MINNIS AND PINTARD STRIKES AT THE FOUNDATION OF OUR DEMOCRACY, THE PRINCIPLES OF GOVERNANCE AND THE PREVALENCE OF THE RULE OF LAW. ON WHAT MORAL AUTHORITY CAN DR. MINNIS CONTINUE IN THE HIGH AND STATUTE OFFICE OF OPPOSITION LEADER?

For the FNM to remain silent on this point and to allow Pintard to jeopardize the FNM’s brand and inflict further serious political harm to the substance and character of Dr. Minnis would be foolhardy and politically suicidal.

I leave the FNM to ponder Deuteronomy 28:7: “The LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways.”
