Nassau, Bahamas - The following is a statement by Andre Adderley:

RE: Clean Hands; The Government Of The Bahamas; Prime Minister Perry Gladstone Christie; Leader Of The Opposition, Dr. Hubert A. Minnis; The Public Disclosure Act (chapter 9); The Public Disclosure Commission; Imposition Of Vat Tax Regime And Associated Fines For Non-compliance and (Declarations of Members of Parliament, Senators, Senior Public Officers and Public Appointees, who are required to declare their assets, income and liabilities as of the 31st December of each year, and associated fines for non-compliance).

The Citizens of The Bahamas take note of the perpetual noncompliance of Members of Parliament, Senators, Senior Public Officers and Public Appointees, who are required to declare their assets, income and liabilities as of the 31st December of each year, pursuant to the Public Disclosure Act (Chapter 9). Bear in mind that "noncompliance" is merely a euphemism for BREAKING THE LAW.

The Citizens of The Bahamas also take note that the Government of The Bahamas intends to implement the VAT tax regime tomorrow, January 1, 2015, along with stiff penalties for noncompliance, despite the fact that The Government is not fully prepared to adequately administer the regime and despite the overwhelming confusion and objections among the Citizens of The Bahamas.

It is the expectation of the Citizens of The Bahamas that each and every Government Official will declare on a timely basis as required by law AND pay ALL penalties for previous noncompliance and late filings, as stipulated under the law BEFORE this administration attempts any further manipulation of the Citizens of The Bahamas.

The Government of The Bahamas is HEREBY notified, that unless and until it provides a FULL ACCOUNTING on the matter of Public Disclosures, it should cease, individually and collectively, to attempt to enforce any of its "claimed" rights against the Citizens of The Bahamas who empowered them, or, alternatively, face the consequences of impunity.

Please be guided accordingly.
