Nassau, The Bahamas - Minister of Tourism and Aviation the Hon. Dionisio D'Aguilar announced during a press conference at Baha Mar on August 18, 2021, that 19 NCAA men's and women’s teams will participate in the “Baha Mar Hoop’s” event making it the largest early season event in all of college basketball. The weeklong slate of games is headlined on the men’s side by Louisville and Maryland and on the women’s side by defending National Champion Stanford and two top-5 teams in Maryland and NC State. In total, 23 games will be played across three events during the U.S. Thanksgiving week, November 22-27, 2021 at the Baha Mar Convention Center.
