Nassau, Bahamas - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs offers condolences to the governments and people of St. Vincent and the Grenadines and St. Lucia following two separate fatal auto accidents on those Caribbean Islands last week.

At least five children lost their lives when a mini bus filled with secondary school children plunged off a cliff and into the sea twenty feet below in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Two children remain missing.

In another incident, four persons perished in a fiery vehicular crash in Saint Lucia last week.

The government’s position was extemporaneously conveyed to the representatives of these countries at the Community Council meeting in Geogetown, Guyana and these expressions are to be confirmed via formal diplomatic note to the respective Ambassadors.
