Nassau, The Bahamas - Jerome Fitzgerald, Minister of Education,
Science and Technology recently thanked Members of Parliament for their
response to his appeal for donations from their constituency fund to purchase
musical instruments for schools in their area, participating in the Bahamas
National High School Marching Band Competition. Parliamentarians viewed the
items during a presentation on March 13 in Parliament Square.
Students from New Providence and the Family
Islands will compete in the event which takes place on Saturday, March 29 at
the Kendal G. L. Isaacs Gymnasium.
