Contribution to the 2018 - 2019 Budget Debate in the Honourable House Of Assembly by the Hon. Frankie Campbell, M.P., Minister of Transport and Local Government and Member of Parliament for Southern Shores Constituency on Monday,
11th June, 2018:

Mr. Speaker:

Once again I am gratified by the opportunity to address this Honourable House on the occasion of the Annual Budget Debate. In so doing, I must in the first instance pay tribute to the wonderful people of Southern Shores, who have deemed me worthy of
servjng them as their Member Of Parliament.

Secondly and no less important is the confidence placed in me by the Hon. Hubert Minnis, our esteemed Prime Minister, who has bestowed on me the honor of 'serving in his cabinet.

As I have continued to emphasize during my trips through the length and breadth of these islands, I could never have imagined in my wildest dreams that I would ever have the great fortune to serve in such a capacity, and i remain humbled and forever grateful for this overwhelming opportunity. I do not take this lightly, and i pledge to the people of Southern Shores, and indeed to the people of the Bahamas, that i will continue to serve them to the best of my ability, equally, and without favor...
