NASSAU, The Bahamas -- The Ministry of Transport & Aviation welcomed a delegation from the People’s Republic of China on a tour the new multi-million dollar Bahamian air traffic control facility at Lynden Pindling International Airport (LPIA) on May 27, after a brief reception at the International Diplomatic Lounge upon their arrival in The Bahamas.

The delegation of aviation officials of the People’s Republic of China arrived to sign agreements implementing air service between China and The Bahamas.

Minister of Transport and Aviation the Hon. Glenys Hanna Martin told the delegation as she conducted the tour that the facility has cutting edge technology at world-class standards.
