Church by the Sea of Ft. Lauderdale Partners with Government for Reconstruction in Fox Town

FOX TOWN, Little Abaco, The Bahamas -- At a recent Town Meeting in Fox Town, Little Abaco, Minister of Foreign Affairs and North Abaco MP the Hon. Darren Henfield thanked the Church by the Sea, a Florida-based non-denominational church, for its partnership with the Government of The Bahamas in assisting with the repair of homes in Fox Town, damaged by Hurricane Dorian.   Minister Henfield also thanked the Bahamas Disaster Reconstruction Authority which will provide inspectors working with the building teams.  Local labour will be used in the initiative.  The government will pay for the local labour.  The church will provide building materials.  Homes of the elderly, the sick, and families with children will be the first repaired.  (BIS Photos/Patrick Hanna)
