Clara E. Evans Primary Brings Andros Drama to National Arts Festival

NICHOLL'S TOWN, Andros, The Bahamas - Preschool and primary students at the Clara E. Evans Primary School showcased their recitation abilities during the E. Clement Bethel National Arts Festival adjudications at their school in Nicholl's Town, Andros, on March 4, 2019.  There were six individual performances, as well as a preschool group in chorale verse speaking.  In the end, Drama Adjudicator and Cultural Icon Philip Burrows gave the students and their teachers, pointers and advice on making their performances better, and awarded distinctions to Travette Bowleg and Kaidyn Campbell for their recitations.  The adjudication team is slated to visit a number of other schools on the island throughout the week.  (BIS Photos/Eric Rose)
