Contractors Introduced to New Air Condition System at BTVI

Nassau, Bahamas - Discount Air Condition Supplies recently partnered with The Bahamas Technical and Vocational Institute (BTVI) to host a workshop introducing contractors and BTVI’s heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) instructors and students to a new pre-insulated duct system for central air systems.

The PIR-ALU is produced by Kingspan Insulation, S.A., a leading manufacturer of premium and high performance rigid insulation products and insulated systems for building fabric and building services applications. The PIR-ALU, which is pre-insulated aluminum HVAC ductwork, ensures high thermal comfort once installed. On the other hand, the aluminum finish protects the panel from aggressive atmospheres and facilitates, achieving optimal hygiene in agricultural installations. It is anti-mold and antimicrobial – suitable for the climate of The Bahamas.

This was the first training by Kingspan Insulation in The Bahamas.
