The Cabinet Office wishes to advise for general information that the House of Assembly and Senate will be deep cleaned and sanitized today, Tuesday 15th September 2020.

A Parliamentary staff member tested positive today for COVID-19.  The Ministry of Health has initiated contact tracing to determine the level of exposure to employees, and all other protocols are being followed.

Persons who interacted with the employee, without following the preventative measures of wearing a mask, maintaining physical distance and limiting the time spent with the employee to less than fifteen (15) minutes will be required to quarantine.

The Ministry of Health’s Surveillance team can be contacted at 502- 7382 (9:00a.m – 5:00p.m.), 376-9350 (8:00a.m. - 8:00p.m.) or 376-9387 (8:00p.m. – 8:00a.m.).

The House of Assembly will meet tomorrow morning, Wednesday 16th September 2020 for a short session with a reduced number of members physically in attendance (just over the quorum).
