Nassau, Bahamas - I wish to advise the residents of the Fox Hill constituency and the Eastwood Subdivision in particular that the gazebo on the park collapsed overnight and may present a danger to users of the park.

Efforts are being made to review the structure and see what can be done to correct and repair the structure. The Ministry of Works has been advised.

In the mean time, residents and users of the park are urged to exercise extreme caution around the collapsed structure.
