Guangdong Art Troupe perform in The Bahamas

NASSAU, The Bahamas -- Governor General Her Excellency Dame Marguerite Pindling attended a performance by Guangdong Art Troupe, entitled ‘Chinese Style and Guangdong’s Image’ at Baha Mar Convention Centre, March 14, in recognition of the 20th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the People’s Republic of China and the Commonwealth of The Bahamas. 

Also present were Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Works and Urban Development the Hon. Philip Davis and Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to The Bahamas His Excellency Huang Qinguo. 

The pictorial gives highlights of the colourful celebration.  The Guangdong Art Troupe was led by Guangdong Province Department of Culture Director General, Mr. Fang Jianhong.  The extravaganza was well attended by local residents.
