Judo President Welcomed to The Bahamas

NASSAU, The Bahamas - In preparation for the World Junior Judo Championships that begins October 17, 2018, Minister of the Environment and Housing the Hon. Romauld Ferreira and Director of Sports at the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture Timothy Munnings joined Bahamas Judo Federation President D'Arcy Rahming at the Lynden Pindling International Airport to welcome and recieve President of the International Judo Federation (IJF) Marius Vizer, on October 13, 2018.  Over 800 athletes and officials from more than 80 countries had already begun to converge in The Bahamas for the Championships, that will take place in the Imperial Ballroom of the Atlantis Resort, Paradise Island.  Pictured (from left) are Mr. Munnings, Minister Ferreira; Mr. Vizer; Mr. Rahming; and Jose Rodriguez, IJF International Development Director.  (MOYSC Photo).
